Cloud Platform AMP 360 Guide - Upgrading a Template

Updated over 2 years ago

If your application only requires a version or file change and the application did not go through the upgrade process, then neither the template or terminal need to go through the upgrade process.

If the application file is updated, the application will automatically update when the next TMS download is performed barring the package name has not been modified.

This is a multi-step process that requires an application upgrade. Ensure the application is upgraded from version X to version Y first before attempting to perform the template upgrade.

For more details, refer to upgrading an application.

  • Select the Templates tab located on the Estate Management sidebar to generate an updated template list.

  • Find your template and press the Menu button located on the far right-hand side of the template list. A drop-down menu will be generated.

  • Select Upgrade Template from the drop-down menu.

  • Select the application to be upgraded from the drop-down list in the Current Application field, then select the upgraded application in the New Application field. Next modify the template’s name and press Save to create the upgraded template.

This process will need to be repeated if multiple applications require upgrades.

  • The upgraded template will be shown in the template list, and a toast will be shown to confirm the template was successfully upgraded.
